Saturn in Pisces ()

Image
Saturn sets up boundaries. In Pisces… Could there be boundaries made of water? I see a castle of old, with a princess locked up in the highest tower, walls, and a moat around them.  A prince is fishing whilst his faithful horse is taking swimming lessons.  I see an ocean, and people in love, or believing they are, living on two separate continents. They are having a virtual relationship on the internet but they are just dreamers.  I imagine a mysterious place, the Island of Avalon. It’s magically protected. If you’re not invited, you simply won’t find the way.  Lost in the mist you’ll end up back to square one, in Glastonbury.  If Avalon serves as a metaphor for the sacred place of vulnerability within,  Saturn in Pisces protects it with smokescreens, illusions, camouflage. If you’re a wallflower, you know how to make yourself invisible. If you’re wandering in the wilderness, hungry and trying to catch  fish in a river (how often did you experie...

Pisces, the hanged man and the 12th house

Image
In the Tarot, the hanged man illustrates the same energy as the sign Pisces and the 12th house. The hanged man is powerless. He is upside down, his hands are tied up behind his back, he is really not in a position to go for his desires and achieve his dreams. All the branches on the trees have been cut, they look painfully bare. He is left with his own soul; the only freedom he is left with is freedom from distraction. Only the experience of powerlessness can remind us that we need to re-connect with who we really are. Who hanged the man? Nobody but himself. Or maybe I should say: His higher self... grabbed him by a foot and pulled! The hanged man with his arms and legs takes the shape of a triangle with a cross on top of it, which in alchemy is a symbol for the achievement of the great work... Pisces and Virgo are only one vibe.

Signs work as polar opposites. Pisces and Virgo for instance are the two ends of only one thing. In Pisces, we connect with our soul, we become compassionate, we are incredibly sensitive and we want to help and save and solace and make life beautiful for everybody. But we just don't know how to do that. So we turn to Virgo.  Virgo has understood that to be able to help, you need to be down to earth. You need to actually register to the bloody first aid class and turn up on the right day. You need a diary for that. Virgo knows that without organisation all the great feelings are useless. So Virgo turns its attention towards down to earth practicalities...  So much so that maybe, at some point, Virgo knows how to do the job, but as it has become obsessed by getting all the details right, it may have forgotten why it is doing the job! It's time to turn to Pisces again, and reconnect with the heart. Once balanced, Pisces and Virgo are only one vibe. Jean jeanmarcpierson.com...
